May 6th marks the 3rd annual National Public Gardens Day. Created to bring awareness to the importance of public gardens in promoting environmental stewardship and plant and water conservation, the day will see some 500 events across the country to celebrate America's public gardens.

A romantic getaway in Colorado can include gentle hikes with breathtaking vistas of sky-piercing mountains, quiet dinners in restaurants that trace their lineage to the days of gold-seeking pioneers or a relaxing night nestled in front of the fireplace at a remote cabin or a slopeside ski lodge as the first – or last – snowflakes of the season waft to the ground outside. When most people think of Denver, they think mountains, skiing, cows, oil and the Denver Broncos.
