Hmmm! 'Aromatherapy treated rooms?' I so didnt get any of that! This retreat is way overpriced. The rooms are basic at best. The lounge and terrace at the villa are fabulous but you don't get to use them unless you're being lectured at. During which, may I add, Ben won't allow any questions. You are lectured. At. My other bugbear was the amount of yoga teachers in this retreat - 60-70%. They get half off. This made the whole experience somewhat cliquey. .There are new retreats popping up all over the place. My advice - give this one a miss.

We wish that you had enjoyed your time at lux as our over 200 returning guests do each year. All rooms do have aromatherapy candles lit while students are in classes. To clarify, your comment about a discount of 60% for yoga teachers is simply untrue. Certified yoga teachers do receive a 5% discount on bookings. As for the yoga curriculum, there are indeed lectures and also interactive workshops during which questions are encouraged. With regard to pricing, the villa itself rents monthly at $80k and the rooms represent the classic style of Provence. Nowhere do we claim to be a hotel. We are an intimate private villa retreat with the service level of a boutique hotel. The experience is personal and every group friendships and connections develop differently. We wish you the best in your future travels.
