Saury Antonio Ortega, a pilot for Dominican-based airline Aerolineas Mas, attempted to smuggle $75,000 worth of cocaine and heroin through JFK airport.

Ortega "strolled" through a customs checkpoint in his pilot's uniform, which he was wearing despite having just flown for free on a JetBlue flight, the New York Post reports.

Ortega also had his badge displayed while going through customs. Agents stopped him and sniffer dogs found $75,000 worth of cocaine and heroin stashed inside coffee bags.

Last year, airport cops in Spain arrested two men who were dressed as pilots for attempting to smuggle cocaine from Bolivia. Earlier this year, a JetBlue passenger was arrested at Boston's Logan airport for wearing a diaper full of cocaine.
