On Sunday, a passenger headed to Frankfurt was busted trying to board a Lufthansa flight with not one but two stun guns.

Shortly after 9pm at New York's JFK airport, Othan Mourkakos, a 53-year-old man from New Jersey, was stopped by a TSA screener who noticed the stun guns in his luggage, the New York Post reports.

Upon being questioned by the screener, Mourkakos reportedly said, "I didn't know it was illegal in New York."

Mourkakos claims to have purchased the weapons for his relatives in Greece due to the recent turmoil there. Mourkakos was later arrested.

The JFK incident comes two days after a stun gun was found tucked into the back seat of a JetBlue flight from Boston on Friday. The FBI is looking into that incident.

One out of two isn't good enough. TSA failures are noted on a daily basis. Why do they harass sick 95 year olds and children but not catch many of these real problems. But you have to give them credit for at least this one. I found a new site to discuss travel experiences at airlineslodgingetc com
