I feel great symphothy for all Ukranian people that were forced in Nazi work camps, however! I feel great sympothy for the Ukranian people under Soviet rule. 1932-1933 the bread basket of Europe Ukranians were deliberatley..Starved to death! a estimated 26 million civilians were killed under Communist Joseph Stalin communist rule. I was six years old in 1943 when I first remember hearing Gabriel Heater and (?) Winchell, evening newscasters on the radio and seeing reports of WWII in the newspapers. U.S. Propaganda did its job on me and I developed a rabid hatred for first Hitler and every German that breathed air, and later for every Japanese. Only recently have I been able to have a decent "ffriendly" conversation with anyone that I found had immigrated from either of those countries. And truth be told, I still have a difficult time forgetting that they had grandparents who tried to kill our soldiers, including my dad and uncles and cousins. To my way of thinking every German is still a Nazi and I have to shake my head to clear out those erroneous thoughts. I can't forget that after the war they all claimed that they did not know what Hitler was really doing, and no, I am not Jewish. Hitler was horrendous. He wanted to rule the world. He was a vicious racist. And he was supported by his countrymen. Why would anyone want to build a museum as a reminder to his cruelty? This must be making the idiotic Neo-Nazis overjoyed.
