Gilt Groupe Launches In-Air Shopping With GoGo

Shopaholics, consider this a warning: Gilt Groupe has paired up with GoGo InFlight to allow people to shop mid-air.

This isn't your run-of-the-mill SkyMall, no no. This is pure insanity.

Sales will be offered on Delta, United, Virgin America, Alaska Airlines and US Airways planes that come equipped with the in-flight WiFi device, according to a release by PR Newswire.

From these planes, Gilt members can shop at all the Gilt sites, including the newly-launched and incredibly delicious Gilt Taste.

The program kicks off right as the summer travel season really kicks off, July 1st.
