Bikini-Clad Pole Dancers Advertise Spirit Airlines Sale

Spirit is no stranger to controversy. In fact, they seem to be drinking buddies. Last week's Anthony Weiner themed sale followed sales based on Charlie Sheen's public breakdown, Tiger Woods' infidelity and the Deepwater Horizon oil disaster that left much of the Gulf Coast in economic ruin.
But the strippermobile upped the ante, exposing pedestrians (rather than people looking for a laugh online) to racy material. The marketing stunt also stands in stark contrast to the Looney Tunes promotions that cover the inside of Spirit aircraft, which prompts the disquieting question: What exactly is this airline's target demographic?
What no longer seems debatable is the airline's dim view of women.
When the company's stewardesses, supported by its pilots, protested against a series of sexist ads for DD (deep discount) and MILF (many islands low fare) specials in 2009, the airline stood its ground. Now the marketing department has somehow managed to top itself.
A spokesman for Spirit could not be reached Monday morning.

I'm tired of hearing this sexist bs. If the women don't like it, why do they go along with it? I don't see a man standing next to them holding a gun to their heads. Women do it for the MONEY so get over it, the women are not being exploited they're working. Stop making this a man vs woman thing, it's business.

There is a billboard advertising low fares to a resort in Thailand. The billboard reads:
"Cheap enough to say, Phuket I'll Go!"
Ingenious. Creative. Immoral? No. Just dastardly clever.
Idiots don't know it's pronounced Poo-ket???????????
