With summer vacation season finally inching closer, it's time to crack open the guidebooks and pick a destination.

I'm from San Francisco, but I really love to visit New York -- so I don't understand the negative comments here. There is no more interesting city on earth, with a literally endless choice of things to do, see, and eat. Yes, it's big, noisy and dirty, and totally fascinating. Pick springtime or fall, though, because of the weather..

Greece is amazing! There needs to be changes on that list, I think New York and Vegas need to be taken off the list.

huh i have been thinking of traveling to several of these destinations good to see they made it on the list. Nevada, Capetown, Rio, Seattle, and San Francisco. San Diego was great very beautiful city, I stayed down town in the Gas lamp District, toured Little Italy,and more, Greatest birthday Ever

Rio de Janeiro, Machu Pichu Very ,very beautiful, but both very differents
San Diego,Las Vegas,San Francisco Very beautiful cities ,but San Francisco is my favorite.
