In light of Osama bin Laden's death, travel in the coming days might be a bit crazier than usual. The United States, as well as Great Britain and Australia, have issued warnings for travelers abroad. And, some airports are beefing up their security presence.

"We remain at a heightened state of vigilance, but the Department of Homeland Security does not intend to issue an NTAS alert at this time," said Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano in a statement. "However, our security posture, which always includes a number of measures both seen and unseen, will continue to respond appropriately to protect the American people from an evolving threat picture both in the coming days and beyond."

When reached for comment, the TSA issued this statement to AOL Travel:

"TSA continually evaluates the latest threats and screening measures which are implemented based on the latest intelligence. As always, passengers may notice a variety of security measures at U.S. airports to include the use of explosives detection technology, physical bag checks, random gate screening, canine teams and behavior detection officers. We ask the traveling public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the authorities."

For those who are still wary of the prospect of backed-up screening lines, here are a few tips from the TSA to keep in mind.

Pack in layers – Alternate between clothing and electronics in carry-on bags. This will allow officers to more easily scan bags.

Check all coats and jackets when possible.

Do not wrap gifts. Otherwise security might be unwrapped for inspection.

Avoid wearing items that will set off the metal detector. These include: underwire bras, belt buckles, metal hair clips, metal buttons, heavy jewelry, keys, loose change and body piercings.

Wear slip on shoes.

And of course, the old standby: Be nice to the TSA.

An important achievement for the world in erdicating one of the most dreaded criminals of mankind. For tourism to flourish, statements like these can adversely affect tourist inflow and eventually hit respective economies. Terrorism will no longer go on!! Peace.

Every body is different. While some people might be able to shrug off and forget about the forced touching and rubbing of their sexual organs by a complete stranger, there are many, many people for whom this is a devastating event. Sex organs have innervation, and emotional and mental anguish over unwelcome sexual touching is not about one's attitude - one's reaction is a physiologically triggered fact. This is unwanted sexual contact in the context of threats and coercion and severe consequences, especially for children who can not refuse. How could parents force their children to acquiesce to sexual relations with a stranger? This is inhumane, indecent, and immoral.

No one is made any safer because government agents shove their hands down the pants and up into the genitals of men, women, and children who are not suspects. This unjust physical and sexual abuse must stop immediately.

HERE's Good Advice: Dont fly at all until overhead bins are replaced with parachutes in the event that they are needed ! The technology is available but the fares would go up and people would be inconvenienced without their "carry-ons" but sure beats a trip to a slab, then six feet under - and that's for ones that have been found ! AIRPLANE CRASHES ARE GENERALLY NOT SURVIABALE - BUT WE BOARD ANYWAY - HOPING THAT "tHIS WON'T BE THE ONE" !
