Oh these silly airline CEOs. Last year, Richard Branson bet that his Formula 1 team would beat that of AirAsia's CEO, Tony Fernandes. The two men bet that whoever lost would serve as a flight attendant--a female flight attendant--on the others airline.

With a slight delay, Branson will finally act the part and work a special charity flight from London to Kuala Lumpur on May 1st, dressed in full female garb, the Associated Press reports.

The billionaire will don the official uniform of heels, makeup and dress and will perform all the duties regularly maintained by the flight crew, including cleaning the bathrooms.

While dressing in drag is somewhat part of Sir Branson's forte (he once dressed as a bride to launch the now-defunct Virgin Brides), Fernandes released a statement saying:

"As an AirAsia flight attendant, Richard would have to comply to our grooming standards, and that includes shaving his legs. Rather than shave him myself, Richard and I thought we could have a bit of fun, engage with our guests and raise more money for charity if we opened up the opportunity to the highest bidder."

Luckily for Branson, Fernandes is allowing him to keep his signature beard.

Prior to the flight's departure, a bidding war will no doubt commence where people can pay to shave Branson in full getup.

Proceeds from the bidding as well as ticket sales (which go for roughly $7,300 a pop) will go to Virgin Unite, Branson's nonprofit foundation.

Anything for fame!? What is missing is honor and integrity, common sense and class, modesty and intellect, among other attributes.
