Some of the comments about Myrtle Beach seem to be jaded to the "commenters" singular experiences which I am sure most readers can see through. We are full time residents in the Myrtle Beach area and have owned property here for almost 15 years (originally from the Midwest). We have raised our children here and after having lived in Florida, California, New Jersey (to name a few) - Myrtle Beach is by far one of the most unique and amazing places to completely experience life as it should be. You don't make Number 1 in the Country and 6th Internationally by accident! So those of you who feel differently, please stay where you are and leave those of us who know why Myrtle Beach is ranked No1 - experience the best beach in the Country without you!

(Bike Week). it all come down to if your poor and white go to myrtle, everyone else go to a clean beach in Florida.
