Has Charlie Sheen Been Banned from New York Hotels?

The New York Post reports that sources say Sheen is not welcome at many of the city's top hotels, which is not surprising in light of an incident last October, when he trashed his room at the Plaza after partying with a prostitute, just the first of the many outrageous incidents he's been involved in since.
"Many of the big New York hotels don't want the drama. He is now looking at renting a private residence," a source tells the New York Post.
Sheen's show is set to tour the country, but with his very public outbreaks and antics (let alone his Guinness Book Of World Records-setting Twitter account and his firing from "Two and a Half Men") he's quite a notorious figure now. He also smokes, a no-no at many hotels.
None of the hotels contacted by AOL Travel News would give comments about Sheen, citing privacy of their guests.

March 31 2011 at 3:22 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyYou people just don't get it. Charlie Sheen is not crazy, not depressed, not on a suicide mission or anything else that has been postulated. He is brilliant. He insulted Lorre in an interview, Lorre wanted to retaliate and teach Charlie a lesson so the final episodes were cancelled for the season. Now, if Charlie sat in his house and kept his mouth shut, like anyrational person would have, the media would run the story about the cancellations and that would have been the end of it. But, Charlie knew he had to be outragous to keep the media interested and pursuing him for interviews. He had to keep the spotlight on himself to get everyone reacting, sending a message to the network as to his popularity and have people talking about how he WAS the sitcom. He has been deliberate in every move, beginning with having the media in his home to witness his drug test results. His next move was to be as bizarre as possible to keep his name in the media daily, which pushed the network to fire him. Mission accomplished. He has the golden parachute clause that guarantees he gets paid to the end of his contract, whether he works or not. He has filed his mega-money lawsuit and has accumulated all of his evidence to win his suit, thanks for the media attention. Doesn't it occur to you that he put a roadshow together rather quickly? Everthing he is doing is validating his entitlement to the "golden parachute" clause payoff. The last laugh is on you for buying into his ingenous scheme that was spawned as a result of Lorre cancelling the final episodes. Les Moonves is afoot trying to convince Lorre to "make nice" with Charlie and with Warner Brothers to hire Charlie back. Charlie wins either way and that's what he means every time he says, "WINNNINNG!" And, for anyone who doesn't think so, you underestimate the man. He IS a damn good actor. And, by the way, that, also, answers the question as to why his family has been mute about his behavior. They know it's an act.

March 31 2011 at 12:12 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyHeres a suggestion where wacko charlie sheen can spend the night , how about the
isolation rubber room at Rikers Island where the citys local jail is located,
that'd be nice and safe for him, you know, padded walls and floor, he couldn't hurt
himself on a hard concrete surface .
Just another day for washed up journalisim, and I fall for bait thinking there may be a hint of truth in the headline.

March 30 2011 at 11:14 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI don't care if he smokes, drinks or parties all night. Destruction of others property is unacceptable. He's a self-centered inconsiderate idiot who should be in jail. Money talks especially in Hollywood. If a common person had done half the things he's done, they'd be pulling 10 to 20 years already. Gutless judges uphold judgements for queers, athletes, and movie industry types. These same judges will send the hard-working every day Joe to jail for spitting on the sidewalk. A family member moved to Hollywood for job reasons and I have come to see the real Hollywood over the past 10 years. It's so plastic. There's no compassion for the poor or true love for anyone. It's dog eat dog mentality, do unto others BEFORE they do unto you. Even their driving shows no consideration and respect for others. Once while driving downtown Hollywood, I stopped to allow someone to pull out into traffic. The guy not only did not thank me, but watched me in the mirror as though he thought I wanted to rob him or something. They are so pathetic. Sheen is a true Hollywood typical type of which I want no part. When I go visit, I get in, visit with my family member and get the heck out of there.
March 30 2011 at 10:39 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyAnd WHO would be out of their mind enough to rent their house to him??? Don't he get it, he's toxic and should wear a sign "keep a helthy distance--1000 ft" around his neck. I wouldn't rent my house to him and I certainly wouldn't want him for a neighbor either.

I understand that there may be a few vacancies at Sing Sing, Attica, or perhaps Bellevue....!
