Ten Secluded Beaches to Avoid the Masses
TEXT SIZE:
A A APeople. Sometimes they suck. Sometimes there is no escaping the crushing mass of humanity. The solution to the homo sapien weary is to bolt to a secluded spot minus the screaming babies and even the beach blanket babes. Here are 10 secluded beaches for those looking to escape the insanity, and embrace the solitude.
Cumberland Island, Georgia
As Georgia's largest barrier island at 40 square miles, Cumberland Island offers secluded beach fronts and the opportunity to roam free amongst the rivers, sounds and marshes on the north, west and south side of the island. Only Cumberland's wild animals — horses, armadillos, sea turtles — will be there to share in the seclusion.

LOL - "The beach has expansive Pacific views." It's the beach!! Show me a beach that doesn't have expansive views of its adjacent body of water.

The locales that aren't far away or expensive destinations require actual walking/making an effort ... something McDonald's theme park lovin' fat Americans w/ their minivan full of screaming monsters don't do.

The reason these beaches are quieter are because they don't have all the fast food restaurants, nightclubs etc. that so many people for whatever reason seem to enjoy, I myself enjoy the solitude to each his own like.
