Vegetarian Goes Crazy Over Airplane Meal

A passenger on a Newark-bound Continental Airlines flight from the Dominican Republic was so displeased by the airplane meal she was served, she threw the loaded tray at a flight attendant.

The 30-year-old vegetarian complained that her special meal didn't meet her culinary expectations, reports the New York Post.

"She said she was a vegetarian and she didn't like what she was being served," said an airline official. "So she threw the food tray – and the food – at the attendant."

The crew called the Port Authority and a Houston-based Continental spokesman confirmed that the flight was met by police when it landed at Newark at 3:48 p.m. He did not make any further comment.

Though the flight attendant declined to press charges, the police still filed a report against the woman, whose name was not given.

I just want to say "thank you" to the voice of reason out there somewhere. I'll be the first to agree that behaving like this deserves a good solid punch to the ear, at least the authorities didn't try to hit her with any BS terrorism charges for something that is clearly not.

That's the sort of thing that will make you kind of want to chug two beers, curse everyone out, then slide down an emergency chute. Seriously.

Oh yes, it's the flight attendants fault, because she makes and packages the food, what an idiot! Just like it's your servers fault when your steak is under/over cooked. Because your server cooks the food lol

Seriously - she had "culinary expectations" from airline food? What rock was she living under?
