The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is trying to figure out how a Maryland man got on a Delta flight out of New York's Kennedy airport without a boarding pass.

Ronald Wong, 30, of Chevy Chase, Md., apparently circumnavigated TSA agents checking boarding documents against passenger IDs at JFK, and got into the "sterile" area where passengers are screened.

After clearing screening, Wong was then able to walk onto a Delta flight bound for San Francisco without a boarding pass.

A Delta flight attendant noticed him standing at the back of the plane during boarding and Wong was arrested. He was charged with trespassing, theft of services and petty larceny and released on bail, the Associated Press reports.

Wong indicates in court documents that he was able to get to the gate by taking another passenger's boarding pass, according to the AP.

The incident occurred on Feb. 24, but was first reported this week by the New York Post.

Wong reportedly pulled the same stunt six days before on a flight from San Francisco to Denver.

"This guy has exposed serious flaws in passenger security in at least two cities," a law enforcement source tells the newspaper.

Contacted by AOL Travel News, both the TSA and Delta say they are cooperating with the law enforcement investigation into the matter.

"Delta Sucks and should be sued for putting their customers in danger."

Oh good lord...we pay $100s of Billions per year in taxes (and Chinese debt) to keep bad guys out of the "sterile zone." The US Government failed again. And you blame Delta?

You are either a Lawyer or a USAir employee.

Feel safe? All the security at the airport gives everyone a false sense of security. Let's all get xrayed, scanned, and patted down. People can get through all that and still there can be a breech of security.

EVERY TIME SOME MENTAL CASE or DEGENERATE gets away with something STUPID when it comes to flying, WE ALL PAY THE PRICE with extra time, inconvenience, and RIDICULOUS Invasion of Privacy at the hands of these MORON TSA Agents !!!

What's next ??? Someone scratches their butt hole and EVERYONE will need to have a procto-exam to get on board ???

Due to this IDIOT's Ticket-Swap fiasco, let's all get ready to have our TIME DOUBLED-UP IN LINE, as every (TSA) Terrorist Sniffing A-O pulls out their magnifying glass to read the fine print on every Boarding Pass, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD !

This FEAR of the BOOGY MAN on our plane is quickly becoming every madman's arena to play in - just for the thrill of later laughing about the rest of us, taking our shoes off, being body searched, dropping our panties, getting X-rayed, being asked ridiculous and embarrassing questions, and even getting thrown into cages for INNOCENT oversights !!! And this will only get worse unless we ALL PROTEST and send these overglorified TSA Idiots packing !

ARM Society - NOT disarm it, like us LIBERALLY-minded souls "think" is prudent to do - for An Armed Society Is A Polite Society, as has been PROVEN over and over again ! The bad guys will ALWAYS have access to "weapons of fear and destruction" so let SOCIETY know that the rest of us will bear down on them in such a quick and torturous moment of response that even the mentally unstable will think twice before initiating their "moments" .

You really want to solve the problem completely? Then make sure no-one can terrorize anyone! Remove anyone that looks Arabic, Xray everyone just before they get on the damned plane, then strip and cavity search them and place neutral robes on them, have the dogs sniff them and their clothes, then cuff both hands to their seats, place their bags and clothes on another plane to follow them, give their clothes and bags back after they land and send them on their merry way! I would feel much safer if they did this.

Air travel at one time not long ago was fun, family came to the now "sterile" areas to see you off or greet ya.

Sounds like the problem if any is with the carrier not checking for a boarding pass, not poor TSA. We still don't have complete manifest passenger lists from the 4 flights on 9/11 some 10 years later?

This obsession with airport security is silly you have a much greater chance of getting killed in a car on your way to or from the airport. You have a greater chance of getting cancer from the scanners than meeting a "terrorist".

We need to put common sense back into security and make the public airports a place we can be proud of and look forward to visiting. Have the airlines run security. TSA could have the job of making sure luggage inspectors are not stealing stuff from your check bags.
