AAA
Police in Newark, Delaware say a man robbed the same hotel not once, not twice, but four times.

Delaware State Police arrested 38-year-old Daniel Prouse of New Castle, Delaware, and charged him with second-degree robbery and violating terms of his release after his latest attempt at the Comfort Suites in Newark.

The most recent robbery came at 10 p.m. on Sunday, when Prouse demanded money from a 19-year old clerk. The clerk recognized him as she was also on duty when Prouse robbed the hotel on Dec. 19.

"The victim, who did not want to be identified, said as soon as he came over, she started shaking her head. He asked her how she was and she said she already knew what he wanted," reports The News Journal of Wilmington.

A trooper who happened to be patrolling nearby saw Prouse and realized he matched the description of the robber who had earlier hit the property.

Prouse also robbed the same property on Dec 9, Dec. 12, police say.

He had been arrested after the Dec. 19 robbery, after leading police on a late-night pursuit and crashing a BMW into a tree. At that time he was charged with three counts of robbery, resisting arrest, DUI and other traffic offenses. He was sent to jail and released on bail.

After his latest incident at the hotel, Prouse was again in jail.

The Comfort Suites clerk says she hopes he doesn't post bail and try another robbery.
