1. Gamble on a Long Shot

Biloxi has a lot more to offer than casinos, but it is true that one of the city's primary tourist draws is gambling. Within the city limits, you'll find eight casinos, which should be more than enough to get anyone's adrenaline going. Thousands upon thousands of slot machines, hundreds of table games, dozens of poker tables – whatever your weakness, Biloxi's got it.

Most notable on the casino roster are the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino and the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. In addition to its casino, the Beau Rivage features a high-stakes salon, where you can hobnob with the best players. The Hard Rock has a fantastic casino, of course, but it also has the added attraction of rock and roll memorabilia, and lots of it. 2. Catch a Match

From October through June, the Mississippi Roller Girls burn up the track on roller skates. This is one spectator sport that's as fun and exciting to watch as it is to participate in, and you'll end up with fewer injuries! Part of the recent revival of the sport, the Mississippi Roller Girls team embraces strategy and athleticism. You won't find the hyped up antics of yesteryear, but don't think that this isn't still one of the most daring adventure activities in Biloxi!

3. Catch a Fish

Ever dreamed of landing a big one? Here's your chance. Biloxi is home to a host of deep-sea fishing boats. Charter one for a half day or several days, and a professional crew will get you out to the sweet spots. Depending on the season and how far out into the ocean you want to go, you can hook redfish, king mackerel, grouper, red snapper, cobia, dolphin, bonito, jack crevale, amberjack, triggerfish, blue marlin, wahoo or blacktip shark.

There are an abundance of charters available (many of which are headquartered at the Biloxi Small Craft Harbor), but two highly recommended companies are Southern Sports Fishing and High Times Charters. As far as Biloxi adventure activities go, this one is of epic proportions.

4. Gulf Islands Waterpark

Test your bravado at the 18-acre Gulf Islands Waterpark. Along with relaxing pools and a lazy river ride, this waterpark tempts daredevils with a huge water roller coaster, twisty tube slides and a 12,000 square foot wave pool. Great if you're looking for a fun, safe, family adventure in Biloxi.

With miles of uninterrupted beach, Biloxi is full of places to rent equipment for some fun activities on the waves. If your sense of adventure is limited to seeing how long you can stay on the beach without getting sunburned, these companies will rent you a beach chair. But if you crave excitement, you've come to the right beach. Test your strength, endurance and wave mastery on a jet ski, kayak, aqua cycle, sail boats or wave runner – the ultimate among daring activities in Biloxi.
