Austria, Europe
431 513 17 12
Happy Hour: 4PM-9PM

Sky Bar is located on the top floor of the Steffl shopping center and is by far one of the most elegant and trendy hot spots in all of Europe. It's a great place for happy hour in Vienna, and young and old gather here to partake in delicious modern cuisine prepared skillfully by the in-house master chefs. The atmosphere is very laid back and no one seems to be in a hurry, which in Vienna is unique in itself, but certainly welcomed by all. The large, well-stocked bar serves over 75 unique specialty cocktails and top label draft beer. The main attraction, however, has to be the breathtaking panoramic views of the sun setting over Vienna. Happy hour specials are available daily between the hours of 4:00PM and 9:00PM and feature an abundance of alcoholic beverages at discounted prices of about 5.00 Euros.

Best Deal: Apple Martini with a slice of fresh bread and butter.

Chill Out Lounge
Salvatorgasse 6

Austria, Europe
676 62 77 487
Happy Hour: Daily 6PM-8PM

Chill Out Lounge is the perfect "home away from home" in Vienna, especially when you want to enjoy great cocktails in Vienna. It feels more like a plush living room than your run-of-the-mill watering hole, and comfort is certainly in abundance - large soft chairs, quaint dim lit dining areas, and a well stocked bar only add to the blissful experience awaiting you. A full menu including standard bar food is readily available to complement any occasion. The happy hour menu at Chill Out Lounge features discounted draft beer and margaritas for 4.00 Euros.

Best Deal: Chill Out Chicken wings and a cherry martini.

When you are in the mood for a carefree evening of fun and relaxation, a visit to Albertgasse 39 is definitely in order. The atmosphere is energetic, and the sights and sounds are sure to bring your senses to life like never before. The food is an eclectic mix of modern and traditional Austrian cuisine, prepared by well-trained chefs with a knack of creating imaginative, playful plates. The unique, dark wood bar was hand-made by skilled craftsmen and features an extremely long aquarium running its length, making for the perfect conversation starter with new friends in Vienna. Happy hour specials include half-price appetizers and a rotating cocktail menu featuring over 100 specialty drinks for 5.00 Euros

Best Deal: Nacho Platter and a Heineken.

First Floor
1 Seitenstettengasse 5
A-1010 Vienna
Austria, Europe
431 533 7866
Happy Hour: 7PM-9PM

If you find yourself with the urge to visit an authentic European lounge, the First Floor is the place for you. Hamburgers and French fries are the highlight of the First Floor's simple yet effective menu - "the greasier the better" is the unspoken slogan here. The decor is traditional, complete with oak furnishings, a solid dark wood bar-top, and a pair of high definition flat panel TVs tuned faithfully to local Austrian sporting events. The happy hour menu features specials ranging from 2.00 Euros for a pint of lager, and 3.00 Euros for well drinks. Live music fills the air nightly and draws in large crowds of partygoers. My advice is to get to this Vienna happy spot early if you hope to enjoy the entertainment, as the bar quickly fills.

Best Deal: Pint of Trumer Pils and a Rueben made with fresh sliced bread.

Passage
Babenberger Passage

Happy Hour: 6PM-8PM

This dance club was formerly used as a passageway linking Hofburg Palace and Kunsthistorisches Museum, and is considered one of the hottest subterranean underpass nightclubs and bars in the world. Passage is all about style, and that's an important factor to take into consideration when deciding where to spend your nights in Vienna. Trendy, hip, and modern, the bar offers over 100 varieties of specialty cocktails, 25 different domestic and foreign beers on tap, and free snacks to recharge your batteries for the long night ahead. Passage is also one of the best places for happy hour in Vienna, as cocktails, as draft beers can be purchased for 2.00 Euros. Live entertainment includes local DJs, as well as world-class performers spanning all genres of musical styles; there is never a dull moment at Passage. It is certainly something that you need to experience firsthand in order to fully appreciate it, and you will be surprised at how quickly you find yourself dancing the night away.
